My husband and I were welcomed and felt very comfortable with our 4 week old daughter getting her tongue and lip tie fixed by Dr. White and her staff. She did a wonderful job explaining the procedure and aftercare. She even called us later in the evening to make sure everything was going well. I was in today for a cleaning and I also received laser treatment for my cold sores even though they were in the healing stage. I am very particular about my dental care and had become dissatisfied with my former dentist who I had been seeing for eight years. In any aspect of my health care professionalism is paramount. After a careful search and asking several friends and colleagues I made an appointment with Dr. Stephanie White in Gearhart, Oregon. The receptionist was prompt in seeing to the transfer of my dental records and did a full review of my insurance.

The cleaning by Dr. White’s competent hygienist was thorough and completed using state of the art equipment and digital imaging that displayed my full set of teeth, as teeth and not the usual meaningless, at least to me, blurry grey-scale x-rays for discussion between the hygienist, Dr. White, and myself. While discussing my general medical history with Dr. White I told her of the constant headache, tinnitus, and fatigue that I had been seeing a neurologist about for three years. Dr. White did an examination of my head and jaw drawing out particular pressure points and came to the conclusion that I was clenching my teeth particularly at night. With confidence she recommended a small clear device fitted after impressions for me to wear.

Skeptical even though she was convincing in her approach I decided to go ahead. Within a week of wearing the device my headaches where going away and within a month the ringing was barely perceptible. The resulting fatigue caused by the stress of the pain and ringing also disappeared. Dr. White had solved what the neurologist and the physicians at Mayo Clinic could not. Needless to say I have found an excellent provider and friend in Dr. White and her delightful staff. -Jeffery
